Bronwyn Raven Purrula

I began teaching Art & Dance in schools in Alice Springs in 1990. The Arrernte Desert Posse is a performing group that I created, performed with and managed for over five years. Angerwuy by Raven was my winning entry for the Triple J Unearthed Competition for Alice Springs in 1995. I was a principal dancer and team leader for the 2006 Opening Ceremony Commonwealth Games. In 2011 I held my first solo exhibition with 21 large canvas paintings as the artist Bronwyn Raven Purrula. I have my paintings exhibited in Canberra Parliamentary offices, the Alfred Hospital and the Department of Human Services.
